Support for Kids on the Spectrum in San Diego

Gentle, nervous system–focused chiropractic care for sensory overwhelm, sleep struggles, and big emotions

Do everyday tasks feel overwhelming for your child?

Chiropractor for spectrum disorders

When a child’s nervous system is stuck in “high alert,” even simple things can feel like too much — transitions, noises, clothing, sleep, and social situations.

At Sprout, our care is nervous system–focused. We use gentle, kid-friendly techniques and objective scans to help us understand what your child’s body is doing — and create a plan that supports more regulation over time.

Families often notice:

  • Less sensory overwhelm and fewer “fight or flight” moments

  • Calmer bodies (which can mean easier transitions and fewer meltdowns)

  • More comfort in their body, so play, learning, and daily life feel easier

You don’t have to do this alone. We’ll meet your child where they’re at and take it step by step.

Helping Kids Navigate Their World With More Ease

Supporting a neurodivergent child can feel like a lot. Our goal is to help your child feel calmer in their body — so daily life gets a little easier.

What care looks like at Sprout

  • Personalized care plan: We listen first, then build a plan around your child’s needs — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

  • Neuro-scans for clarity: Gentle, quick scans help us understand how your child’s nervous system is handling stress, so we’re not guessing.

  • Support when progress feels stuck: If other things haven’t been “sticking,” we’ll help you find the missing piece and create a clear path forward.

You don’t have to do this alone. We’ll meet your child where they’re at and take it step by step.

Our neuro-scans are quick and non-invasive, and help us understand how your child’s nervous system is handling stress — so we can make a clear plan.

FAQs

  • We focus on your child’s nervous system and how their body is handling stress. Many families come in for support with sensory overwhelm, sleep, tension, and regulation.

  • We’ll start with a conversation to understand your child’s history, what you’re noticing, and what goals you have. Then we’ll do gentle assessments and neuro-scans to help guide a care plan — always focusing on comfort, building trust, and moving at a pace that feels right for your child.

  • It’s gentle and kid-friendly. We’ll meet your child where they’re at — sometimes that means adjusting while they’re playing or sitting with you. Comfort comes first, and we always go at their pace.

  • LLLT is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses specific wavelengths of light to support healing in the body. It’s designed to help calm inflammation, support cellular health, and support the nervous system — which can be especially helpful for some kids with neurodevelopmental challenges.

  • If daily life feels hard — like sensory processing, sleep struggles, big emotions, ADHD, or autism-related regulation challenges — it’s worth a visit. We’ll talk it through and help you decide the best next step.

  • We don’t accept insurance. This lets us keep care simple and spend more time with families instead of paperwork. HSA/FSA cards are welcome.

  • Pricing depends on your care plan. We’ll go over all costs and options after your first visit so you can decide what works for you.
